PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device for a refrigerator low in manufacturing cost when filling a vacuum heat insulating panel, and desirable in appearance by forming a sufficient urethane foam material. SOLUTION: Before filling the urethane foam heat insulating material 17, a vacuum heat insulating panel 20 is stuck to the inner surface of a door outside plate 13, and an outer flange 15A and a long inner flange 15B extending downward from the outer flange 15A, are formed at an upper door cap 15. The upper end of the door outside plate 13 is held by both flanges 15A, 15B. An outer flange 16A and a long inner flange 16B extending upward from the outer flange 16A, are formed at a lower door cap 16, and the lower end of the door outside plate 13 is held by both flanges 16A, 16B. The lower end of the inner flange 15B or the upper end of the inner flange 16B extends close to the upper end or lower end of the vacuum heat insulating panel 20. In a state of the vacuum heat insulating panel 20 being stuck to the inner surface of the door outside plate 13, the urethane foam heat insulating material 17 is formed by an on-site foaming method.
