PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool gripper capable of stably holding a tool having a grip part provided with a circumferentially intermittent groove, and a tool magazine provided with a mechanism capable of correcting a posture of the tool. SOLUTION: The tool magazine 1 is provided with the tool gripper 3, which individually stores and holds the tools 4 having the grip part 42 provided with the circumferentially intermittent groove 41, and a tool transfer part 2 for transferring the tool 4 between the tool gripper 3 and a tool change port 12. The tool gripper 3 is provided with many tool holding parts 32, which hold the tool 4 in a storage posture of directing the groove 41 at the grip part 42 to a prescribed circumferential position, to one side or both sides of a gripper body 31 erected in the tool magazine 1. The tool transfer part 2 is provided with a tool gripping part 22, which holds the tool 4 in a mounting posture of directing the groove 41 at the grip part 42 to a position different from the storage posture, to a transfer stage 21 capable of vertically and horizontally moving in the tool magazine 1. The tool gripping part 22 is provided with a posture switching means for allowing the tool 4 to circumferentially rotate on its axis between the mounting posture and the storage posture.
