PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier cartridge which is high in flow rate, is free from short pass and has an efficient and sure removal performance. SOLUTION: This water purifier cartridge 11 is constituted by housing a filter medium housing vessel 4 equipped with a water flowing-in part 3 at an outer peripheral wall 2, a supporting frame 8 which is inserted in the filter medium housing vessel 4 and is respectively equipped with a water flowing-in part 6 at its outer peripheral wall 5 and a water flowing-out port 7 at its downstream end part and a filter medium 9 charged between the filter medium housing vessel 4 and the supporting frame 8. A raw water supply part 10 is disposed at an upstream side than the filter medium housing vessel 4 and water from the raw water supply part 10 flows in from the outer peripheral wall 2 of the filter medium housing vessel 4, passes through the filter medium 9 and further flows in from the outer peripheral wall 5 of the supporting frame 8 and flows out of the outflow port 7 of the supporting frame 8. The supporting frame 8 or one or both of the outer peripheral walls 5, 2 of the filter medium housing vessel 4 are made of a fibrous ion-exchange resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
