PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for circulating a hot wind in an autoclave for heating, pressurizing and molding a laminated structure of a composite material so that a predetermined or larger temperature difference does not arise among atmospheric temperatures of respective sections of a work zone 10, where the laminated structure or the material to be molded is loaded, when the autoclave is in operation. SOLUTION: The work zone 10 of the horizontal circulation-type autoclave is divided into a plurality of sections in the longitudinal axial direction without arranging boundaries. An agitation motor 13 having a rotary shaft which is parallel to the axial direction of a pressure vessel 2 in the upper part of an outer wall of the vessel 2 and is perpendicular to the longitudinal axial center of the vessel 2 is arranged in every section. The rotary shaft is made to penetrate a wall of the vessel 2, an external ventilation passage 4 and a wall of a muffle furnace 3 and extended to the ceiling of the work zone 10. An agitation fan 14 is fit to the tip of the rotary shaft. An auxiliary heater 17 is arranged on an inner wall of the muffle furnace 3 in the position opposed to the agitation fan. The atmospheric temperature difference is not made to arise between the upstream side of the muffle furnace 3 and the downstream side by agitating and mixing the circulating gas and dispersing the calorie from the auxiliary heater 17 by the agitation fan 14.
