The relay has a magnetic device for actuating a switching latch of a circuit breaker, and a housing (1) surrounding the magnetic device. Rotary components are supported in the housing. A coil spring (7) operating against the magnetic device is arranged within the housing. The spring is directly fastened to the rotary components, such that torque remains constant, during the rotation of the rotary components.
