<p>A magnetic recorder/reproducer comprising a measuring section for measuring the interval between a recording head (21) and a reproduction head (25), a detecting section for detecting the recording magnetization inverting unit position at the head of a data area (11), and a recording section for recording corresponding to the recording magnetization inverting unit. A magnetic recorder/reproducer capable of performing good recording on a pattern media by taking a recording timing from the recording magnetization inverting unit at the head of a data track is thereby provided.</p> |
