There is provided a reception device capable of preventing deterioration of communication radio characteristics, increasing the C/N characteristic of a calibration circuit, and stabilizing the estimated value of the antenna coming direction. In this device, a control unit (102) controls bypass switches (105-1 to 105-n) so as to perform switching according to a comparison result between the reception level and a threshold value. Multiplex/distribution circuits (104-1 to 104-n) distribute a reception signal. The bypass switches (105-1 to 105-n) switches between a mode for passing the reception signal and a mode not passing the reception signal according to control by the control unit (102). Amplifiers (106-1 to 106-n) amplify the reception signal. Multiplex/distribution circuits (107-1 to 107-n) distribute the reception signal. A calibration radio circuit (110) performs calibration of an array antenna. A calibration radio circuit (112) performs calibration of an array antenna.
