<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately and easily create and adjust respective profiles about a scanner and a printer being components of a color copying machine. <P>SOLUTION: An image obtained by creating a temporary scanner profile, scanning an original image by the scanner and reflecting the temporary scanner profile is displayed on a monitor, colors of the image displayed on the monitor are matched to colors of the original image with visual observation, and the temporary scanner profile is adjusted to a real scanner profile. An image obtained by creating a temporary printer profile, scanning the original image by the scanner and reflecting the real scanner profile is displayed on the monitor, the temporary printer profile is reflected and output from the printer, colors of an image output from the printer are matched to colors of the image displayed on the monitor with visual observation, and the temporary printer profile is adjusted to a real printer profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
