<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing form original plate, which has excellent on press developabilities, developable with dampening water and/or ink, remarkably improved plate wearability and is excellent in the resistance to smudging due to blinding (piling resistance). <P>SOLUTION: In the lithographic printing form original plate, in which an image recording layer is provided on a lithographic printing form support obtained by applying roughening processing and anodizing to an aluminum plate, (1) the surface of the lithographic printing form support has an undulation consisting of a long wave structure having a mean wavelength of 5-100 μm, a medium wave structure having a mean aperture diameter of 0.5-1.5 μm and a short wave structure wave structure having a mean aperture diameter of 0.01-0.2 μm and a center-line mean roughness Ra of 0.40-0.50 μm under the condition that the ratio of the depth to the aperture diameter in the short wave structure (the depth/aperture diameter) is set to be at least 0.40, (2) a polymer compound layer having a weight average molecular weight Mw of at least 10,000 and an adsorbable group to the surface of a support is provided on the support, (3) further, the image recording layer developable with the dampening water and/or the ink includes (A) light absorbent, (B) polymerization initiator, (C) polymerizable compound and (D) binder polymer and has its center-line mean roughness of 0.2-1.0 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
