OPTICAL COMPENSATION FILM, ELLIPTIC POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation film and an elliptic polarizing plate which are used for providing a liquid crystal display device that has improved gradation inversion and the characteristic of a wider viewing angle and is excellent in industrial productivity.

SOLUTION: The optical compensation film is characterized in that a liquid crystal composition which develops a biaxial nematic phase is twisted hybrid oriented.
