<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications system in which a novel virtual tunnel can be formed faster and more easily than a conventional system, even if a repeater station to be connected is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system includes a repeater station which sends a tunnel information request signal indicating a request of information of a pseudo-address that becomes the address of a transmission port of a virtual tunnel to the outside, if information of an IP address is received from a communication terminal in connection with the communication terminal, stores the pseudo-address, together with the IP address of the communication terminal, when receiving a tunnel information answer signal containing information of the pseudo address; generates the pseudo-address and stores it together with the IP address of the communication terminal, when it is not receiving the tunnel information answer signal; and a router which is connected with the repeater station and a network; transfers the tunnel information request signal received from the repeater station to the outside; transfers the tunnel information answer signal to the repeater station, if the tunnel information answer signal is received from the outside; and stores the pseudo-address as an address of the repeater station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
