PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce process burden on a server device in an information processing system equipped with an information processing apparatus for repeatedly transmitting packets and a server device for receiving the packets.

SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 1 comprises a transmission judging part 11 which judges whether to transmit a repetitive packet, a life judging part 12 which judges whether to set a life which does not reach a server device 3 to be a repetitive packet, a life setting part 14 which sets the life of repetitive packet to be the one that does not reach the server device 3 if the life judging part 12 judges to set the life that does not reach the server device 3, while sets the life of repetitive packet to be the one that reaches the server device 3 if the life judging part 12 judges to set the life that reaches the server device 3, and a transmission part 15 which transmits the repetitive packet having the life set by the life setting part 14 if the transmission judging part 11 judges to transmit a repetitive packet.
