<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal bracket which is suitably used for installing a handrail material in a direction parallel to a wall surface by using the wall surface of a house, a side surface of a column, or the like, and in the state of inclining the handrail material at an arbitrary desired angle with respect to a floor surface. <P>SOLUTION: The universal bracket comprises a handrail supporting member 1 and a mounting base member 2. The supporting member 1 comprises a socket part 3 for supporting the handrail material (b), and a shaft part 5 which is elongated from the socket part 3 in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the socket part 3. The base member 2 is equipped with a shaft hole 8 with almost the same diameter, into which the shaft part 5 of the supporting member 1 is to be inserted; mounting parts 11 are each provided on both the sides of a low part of a main part 9 where the shaft hole 8 is formed; and a screw guiding hole 12 is provided in the mounting part 11. The base member 2 is fixed by screwing a wood screw 14, which is passed through the hole 12 of the mounting part 11, into an installation surface; the shaft part 5 of the supporting member 1 is inserted into the shaft hole 8 of the base member 2 by aligning a protrusion 7 with a groove 15; and the socket part 3 is installed in the installation direction of a handrail. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
