<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating handle of a parking brake device not requiring a rotation space of the handle. <P>SOLUTION: The operating handle 3 is structured so that a coupling means 12 of a brake cable 2 and a shaft 11 are fixed inside the shaft 11 accommodated in a base bracket 10, where a releasing means is provided for releasing the fixed condition with the brake being in application, and the fixed condition can be released without twisting the shaft 11. The configuration further includes a handle core 30 fixed to the shaft 11, a shaft plate 31, a link 32, and an operating button 33 coupled with the other end of the link 32, wherein the handle core 30 is furnished internally with the shaft plate 31, the link 32, and the operating button 33 on its link 32 side, and the releasing means is operated from the operating button 33 through the link 32 to release the fixed condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
