PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "on-vehicle disk device" in which rattled noise from a lever body that is operated by the insertion/ejection of a disk is surely suppressed. SOLUTION: A detection lever 13 of a disk discriminating mechanism 9 is supported rotatably on the upper surface of a upper base 6 which is arranged in an elevatable manner with respect to a lower base 5. A roller bracket 28 of a disk transporting mechanism 11 is supported rotatably on the lower surface side of the upper base 6 and a pushing protrusion 28a which is freely going in and out with respect to the rotation region of the detection lever 13, is arranged on the roller bracket 28. By abutting the pushing protrusion 28a against a receiving section 13d of the detection lever 13 in a stand-by condition in which insertion of the disk is waited, the detection lever 13 is pushed to the direction in which the lever 13 is away from the upper surface of the upper base 6 using the disk pressing force possessed by the disk transporting mechanism 11.
