PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe clothes hanger device for a veranda facilitating the manufacture and assembling, easily raised/lowered, and preventing its unexpected lowering. SOLUTION: This clothes hanger device for the veranda comprises a vertically long rail shaped raising/lowering vertical pole 1 with an arm 3 and a fixing member 2 attaching the raising/lowering vertical pole to a side wall 4 of the veranda so as to be freely raised/lowered. The raising/lowering vertical pole clamps the both sides of the fixing member 2, is slidable, and is formed with a plurality of hooking holes 7 in its vertical plate part 6 at some interval apart. The fixing member, in the inside of a sliding connecting part 8 to the raising/lowering vertical pole, is provided with a first spring 13 journaling a rod-shaped hooking piece 10 whose hooked tip part 11 faces the side of the hooking holes 7 of the raising/lowering vertical pole to a lateral shaft 12 and normally energizing its hook shaped tip part to project in the direction of the hook holes side; a cam member 15 having a bearing plate part 14 supporting the hooking piece with its state journaled to the lateral shaft and abutting on the side face of the hooking piece; and a second spring normally energizing the cam member in the direction of projecting the tip part.
