PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a trouble that misoperation during a game causes the start of an operation confirmation test in a game machine. SOLUTION: The operation of the game machine is controlled by a distributed processing by a host controller and a slave controller. The slave controller operates in a test mode or a game mode. Commands of the slave controller includes test commands for tests and game commands for games. The test commands are treated as an invalid command in the game mode, and the game commands are treated as a forced termination command for the tests in the test mode. Switching the meanings of the commands according to the operation modes suppresses the possibility of the misperformance of the test commands in the game mode, and when erroneous test is started, the game commands output on various occasions during the game quickly restore the erroneous test to the game mode.
