PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending operation device of an endoscope simplifying the adjustment of the maximum traction of an operation wire without spending time and labor for the work by dispensing with replacement of a screw for fixing a stopper member, even if the adjustment amount of the maximum traction of an operation wire becomes large. SOLUTION: A plurality of screw holes 12 for fixing the stopper member 8 with screws to a frame 10 fixed to the operation part 4 are formed in the stopper member 8, a long hole 13 for passing the plurality of screws 11 therein is formed into a narrow and long shape in the frame 10 along the running direction of the operation wire 6, and the plurality of screws 11 threadedly engaged in the screw holes 12 with their loosely fastened thereto are moved in the long hole 13 formed in the frame 10 to be tightly fastened to the plurality of screw holes 12 formed in the stopper member 8, so that the fixing position of the stopper member 8 can be adjusted.
