<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for updating a storage area of a noncontact tag according to the state of operation in transporter equipment connected with the noncontact tag set in a transporter for transporting passengers such as a train or a bus. <P>SOLUTION: The noncontact tag has a storage area 301 for unique information containing a serial tag ID, a vehicle number, and a tag setting position; a storage area 302 for common setting information for operation containing an operation number, an operation date, and an operation schedule; a storage area 303 for tag independent setting information for operation containing a logic tag ID, a vehicle number, and a vehicle kind; a storage area 304 for update information during operation containing a current arrival station name, an operation result, and an operation status; and a storage area 3 for measuring system update information.
