<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device enabling safe driving by minimizing a time and an interval for shifting the line of sight of a driver to a touch panel display, when performing a map scrolling operation during driving. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a touch moving distance detection means 101 for detecting the moving length of a finger after being brought into contact with the touch panel display, and a touch moving direction detection means 102 for detecting the moving direction. When the surface of the map displayed on the touch panel display is slid by a finger or the like, the map is scrolled together with the finger or the like, to thereby enable fine map scrolling control by movement of a fingertip. Hereby, the time and the interval for shifting the line of sight of the driver to the map on the touch panel display can be minimized, to thereby enable safe driving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
