<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for ink-jet printing, forming ink particles increased in charge developing efficiency and temporal charge stability, having sufficiently rapid electrophoretic rate at the ejecting part of an ink-jet printer and giving blotless high quality images, and to provide a method for ink-jet printing using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises a dispersant and charged particles containing at least a colorant, wherein the composition is characterized by containing at least one acid compound having ≤12 pKa in water at 25°C, and the method for ink-jet printing which flies the ink composition as ink drops by using ink-jet printing system utilizing an electrostatic field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
