<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having a projector device that projects text information, such as a mail, so that it is clearly visible, by eliminating such problems in which when text information, such as a received electronic mail, is projected, simply enlarging and reducing the information may make it difficult to see the contents of projection, namely, since no reference is disclosed for the enlargement and reduction, the entire writing is not shown within a projection area or is difficult to read when the projection area has much margin. <P>SOLUTION: A cell phone 10 with a projector displays the contents of a received mail onto a main liquid crystal display 204. When the projection switch of a projector module 6 shown in Figure 1 is on, the contents are projected using the projector module 6 instead of displaying them on the main liquid crystal display 204. When the contents are projected on the projector module 6, the main liquid crystal display 204 is turned off. The projector module 6 has a liquid crystal panel 62, shown in Fig. 2, which projects more letters than the display screen of the main liquid crystal display 204 on which the number of letters in the vertical and horizontal directions are displayed 10 × 10. The cell phone 10 having the projector projects the contents of a received mail after altering a vertical/horizontal ratio (line/row ratio) so that the number of letters in the horizontal direction is larger than that shown on the display screen of the main liquid crystal display on which the numbers of letters in the vertical and horizontal directions are equally displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
