<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, image processing method, information recording medium and computer program in which a characteristic area of an image can be recognized without being affected by variations of document density, variations of lamps of a copy machine, dirt on a document and the like. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a scanner 2 for reading a document; an antenna 5a for transmitting/receiving a radio wave of a wireless tag on the document by scanning the document synchronously with reading by the scanner 2; a reader/writer 6a comprising a radio modulation means for generating a radio wave to be transmitted to the antenna 5a and a radio demodulation means for demodulating a radio wave received by the antenna 5a; a page header editor 8a for recording position information of the wireless tag read by the radio demodulation means; and an image processing apparatus 12a for performing image processing on the document based on the position information recorded by the page header editor 8a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
