PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable rapid and efficient fault handling when a fault occurs in an information apparatus.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 (failure recovery support device 110) is connected to a management device 200 via a network 300. The image forming apparatus 100 stores a plurality of programs, and performs processing according to each program. When an error occurs in the image forming apparatus 100, the failure recovery support device 110 transmits error information to the management device 200. The management device 200 stores the error correspondence information according to the contents of each error information, and transmits this to the failure recovery support device 110.
