PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an image identification capability at the time of displaying a plurality of volume data files as thumb-nail files in a list.

SOLUTION: This three-dimensional image display device is provided with a storage device 4 for storing a plurality of volume data files, a rendering processing part 6 for two-dimensional projection for preparing a plurality of corresponding thumb nail files from the plurality of volume data files and a display device 1 for displaying the plurality of thumb nail files in a list. Each of the plurality of thumb nail files is provided with a plurality of projection images in which at least either the direction of the point of view or the direction of the line of sight is made different.
