PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a steel plate laminate for an iron core wherein the movement of a belt-like steel plate is not prevented in the process for feeding the belt-like steel plate to the side of the table for steel plate lamination by a steel plate feeder. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the steel plate laminate for the iron core comprises the table 1 for steel plate lamination, the steel plate feeder 5 for feeding a long belt-like steel plate 3 to the side of the table for steel plate lamination, and a cutter 2 disposed between the steel plate feeder 5 and the table for steel plate lamination, and cuts the belt-like steel plate with the cutter 2 fed by the steel plate feeder to the predetermined length to form a rectangular unit steel plate 4, and manufactures the steel plate laminate for the magnetic core by successively laminating the rectangular unit steel plates 4 on the table 1 for steel plate lamination. In this apparatus for manufacturing the steel plate laminate for the magnetic core, a compressed air supplying apparatus 30 is provided for blowing compressed air A into the underside of the belt-like steel plate 3 under feeding from the cutter 2 side to generate an airflow flowing along the underside of the belt-like steel plate 3 under feeding to the tip side thereof.
