PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene film excellent in handling property and withstand characteristics which are hardly compatible in a conventional article by maintaining the same dimension stability and heat resistance as in the conventional article and by forming even and dense irregularities on the surface to decrease defects in insulation, to provide a metallic film and a capacitor using the polypropylene, and further to provide a propylene film excellent in workability and handling property when then article is metallized and the capacitor element is prepared. SOLUTION: The metallized film and capacitor are configured by using the polypropylene film and metallized film which contain polypropylene of Trouton ratio of 30 or more, and/or polypropylene of Trouton ratio of 14 or more and less than 30, and/or having long-chain branches in a principal chain skeleton, and in which a central line average surface roughness (Ra) in both film surfaces, and the maximum surface roughness (Rmax) satisfy a relevant formula (1) Rmax/Ra≤20.
