摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium having excellent running durability and long term preservation properties and to provide a magnetic recording medium having excellent coating film smoothness and electromagnetic transducing characteristics. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium having a radiation curing layer formed by curing a layer containing a radiation curing compound by irradiation with a radiation and at least one magnetic layer formed by dispersing ferromagnetic powder in a binder on a non-magnetic substrate is characterized in that the radiation curing compound contains a compound A having a cyclic structure and two radiation curing functional groups in its molecule and a compound B which has no a cyclic structure and has three or more radiation curing functional groups in its molecule.
