PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller having low inertia moment, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This roller is manufactured by performing electroless plating on a surface of a FRP tubular body having an inner layer composed of fiber-reinforced plastic containing less than 50 wt% resin, and an outer layer composed of fiber-reinforced plastic containing 50-95 wt% resin.
