PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact massage apparatus for lower legs having various types of massage mechanisms massaging the calves, the sides of the legs, the sole sides of the legs and the like. SOLUTION: This massage apparatus for the lower legs is provided with a legrest 2 having a legrest massage mechanism 6 massaging the calves, a footrest 3 having a footrest massage mechanism 7 massaging the feet and a sole massage mechanism 8 massaging the sole sides of the feet, a first driving mechanism 9 driving the legrest massage mechanism 6 and the footrest massage mechanism 7, and a second driving mechanism 10 driving the sole massage mechanism 8. The first driving mechanism 9 is disposed in the central part of the left/right direction of the legrest 2 and the footrest 3 and between the footrest massage mechanism 7 and the legrest massage mechanism 6; the legrest massage mechanism 6 is disposed above and behind the footrest massage mechanism 7; and the driving motor 56 is disposed behind the first driving mechanism 9 and below the legrest massage mechanism 6.
