There is described a board-mounting device ( 20 ) which comprises a base carrier ( 10 ) that can be snapped down on a board ( 14 ). The base carrier ( 10 ) comprises at least one locking hook ( 22 ) which engages behind the board ( 14 ) in the mounted condition of the device ( 20 ). The device ( 20 ) further comprises a device carrier ( 11 ), connected with the base carrier ( 10 ), which is adapted to be moved relative to the base carrier ( 10 ). The locking hook ( 22 ) is provided with at least one shoulder ( 43 ) on which the device carrier ( 11 ) is supported by at least one guide pin ( 31, 40, 50, 60 ) before the device ( 20 ) is in its mounted condition.
