<p>An X-ray inspection apparatus capable of confirming a conveyance condition, in a housing, of an article to be inspected and detecting abnormality in the conveyance condition of the article. In the X-ray inspection apparatus (10), before the start of inspection, a control computer (20) measures in advance a standard physical quantity of a piece of merchandise to be inspected based on image data received from a photoelectric tube (17). The control computer (20) measures, based on an X-ray image prepared by an X-ray transmission amount detected by an X-ray line sensor (14), a physical quantity of the piece of merchandise loaded in a sealed box (11), the physical quantity corresponding to the standard physical quantity. The control computer (20) compares the measured physical quantity and the standard physical quantity, and when the result is not within a predetermined range of error, the control computer (20) determines that abnormality has occurred in a conveyance condition.</p> |
