<p>The invention relates to a planar textile material, comprising at least one optical fibre either alone or in a bundle of fibres, in particular, for the production of an illuminated screen in which the optical fibre is treated or altered in order to generate, at each point of treatment or alteration, a lateral light outlet when the fibre is illuminated from an end called the source of said fibre. The material has a first set (3) of optical fibres, which are parallel to each other and separated from each other by a given interval (e) between the fibres and structure threads passing in the intervals (e) between the optical fibres with a warp knitting, generating the whole assembly and/or at least a second set (5) of threads or textile fibres between the above. The material may be produced either with a multi-axial knit or a warp knit with weft insertion.</p> |
