<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the positioning accuracy of a semiconductor integrated circuit by positioning an optical element which is required to be positioned directly to a planned arranging position. <P>SOLUTION: An IC chip 42 is positioned to a predetermined planned arranging position ((A)) and, in addition, a light detecting element 22 is arranged at a position at which the element 22 makes optical communication with an optical element 20 mounted on the IC chip 42 in this case.
