BATTERY HOUSING CASE AND ITS ASSEMBLY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery housing case capable of saving space by reducing a projecting dimension of a connection part between a metal case body and a lid without being influenced by heat nor needing a gasket or the like. SOLUTION: This battery housing case is provided with: the metal case body 3 having at least one surface opened and used for housing a flat battery pack 2 with thin batteries 21 stacked therein; and a metal lid 5 for closing an opening 4 of the metal case body 3; and has air permeability by communicating the inside of the case with the outside the case. The battery housing case is composed by tightly winding an opening end periphery of the metal case body 3 and a lid end periphery of the metal case 5 to connect them to each other.
