PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-permeable filter which minimizes ink leakage even when the ink is pressed to the air-permeable filter by thermal expansion of air or the evaporation of the ink in the interior of a case by the change in temperature in a state of the filter contacting the ink and to provide the ink case equipped with the air-permeable filter. SOLUTION: The air-permeable filter comprises a laminate of a porous material layer consisting of a fluororesin such as polytetrafluoroethylene or a polyolefin resin and at least one air-permeable support layer having a tensile strength of 1 MPa or more.
