PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a clear image even if a damaged element exists. SOLUTION: A CPU 6 refers to a storage unit 6a to discriminate presence/absence of an IR image sensor 2 of which an output voltage value is 0. If an infrared detection element of which an output voltage value is 0 is present, the infrared detection element is judged as a damaged element, and an output voltage value of an infrared detection element adjacent to the damaged element is captured. The CPU 6 arrays, in the ascending order, output voltage values of the damaged element and of adjacent infrared detection elements around the damaged element, calculates a value positioned in the center of the arrayed output voltage values, rewrites the output voltage value of the damaged element stored in the storage unit 6a with the calculated center value and then performs display control on an image according to the output voltage value stored in the storage unit 6a.
