摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device 1 for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing reduction of degree of control freedom caused by integrating actuators into one unit and preventing fuel from flowing out continuously from an accumulator 2 when releasing fuel pressure in a control chamber 11 onto a low pressure side. SOLUTION: A control valve 5 is constituted as a two position three-way valve, and a change-over port 5e of the control valve 5 and the control chamber 11 of a booster 3 are connected with the control valve 5 through a reciprocating passage to control fuel pressure in the control chamber 11 by the control valve 5. The reciprocating passage is formed by two fuel passages 15, 16 for connecting the change-over port 5e of the control valve 5 and the control chamber 11 mutually in parallel. A check valve 17 for preventing flow of fuel toward the control valve 5 from the control chamber 11 is provided in the fuel passage 15 on one side, and a hydraulic valve 18 and a restriction for preventing flow of fuel toward the control chamber 11 from the control valve 5 are provided in the fuel passage 16 on the other side.
