PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor preventing volumetric efficiency from lowering by a refrigerant flowing into a compression chamber, reducing a problem of sliding loss and vibration at outer peripheral edge portions of an end plate of a turning scroll and preventing leakage of the refrigerant into the compression chamber even in high differential pressure operation to allow high efficiency. SOLUTION: A ring-shaped member 12a rotatably supported is installed on a sliding surface of a fixed scroll 12 with the turning scroll 13. This provides the scroll compressor reducing the problem of sliding loss and vibration at the outer peripheral edge portions of the end plate of the turning scroll 12 and preventing leakage of the refrigerant into the compression chamber even in high differential pressure operation to allow high efficiency.
