PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow passage structure for reduction of air-intake noise and air-intake resistance in an intake system of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A continuous intake flow passage 19 is formed of a first bore 7 in a throttle body 8, a second bore 14 in a spacer 13 and a third bore 11 in an intake manifold 3. The second bore 14 is formed in a taper bore with a diameter gradually reduced from the throttle body 8 side toward an intake manifold 3 side. A diameter D1 at a downstream end of the first bore 7 is small with respect to a diameter D2u at an upstream end of the second bore 14 formed in the spacer 13. A diameter D2d at a downstream end of the second bore 14 is small with respect to a diameter D3 at an upstream end of the third bore 11 formed in the intake manifold 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
