PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining tool capable of providing high workability and high economic efficiency, and sufficiently reducing the length of a cage body and the cage body in those steps such as the mounting of the tool on a strand, the mounting of the tool on a band reinforcement, and the assembly of the cage body. SOLUTION: The strand 3 is passed through a sleeve 9 to which one end of a screw stud 15 is fixed to a weld part 23 and a resin 19 is filled in the sleeve 9 to form the strand 3 integrally with the sleeve 9. Also, an angle material 11 is welded to the band reinforcement 5. The screw stud 15 fixed to the sleeve 9 is inserted into a washer and the angle material 11 fixed to the band reinforcement 5, and nuts 16 and 17 are threaded onto a screw part 21. While a cross hatch angle between the band reinforcement 5 and the strand 3 is varied by rotating a tubular member 9 relative to the angle material 11, the strand 3 is spirally formed and a distance between the band reinforcements 5 disposed is gradually reduced to reduce the length of the cage body 1.
