PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading platform lifting device and its caster stopper locking device capable of enlarging the effective width of the dolly inlet/outlet of a loading platform and enhancing the operability in loading and unloading objects using a dolly. SOLUTION: The loading platform lifting device 100 is equipped with a caster stopper 60 to constitute part of the upper surface of the loading table 8 when accommodated thereby and to serve as a car stop for preventing the dolly on the load receiving platform 8 from running out of control when it is protruded from the upper surface of the platform 8, a housing 70 arranged at and accommodated by the platform 8 in such a way as positioned on the side face of the caster stopper 60, a lock unit 71 advancing and retreating to/from the caster stopper 60 upon being inserted into the housing 70 and able to be engaged from the side with the caster stopper 60 in the accommodated condition, a spring 72 to energize the lock unit 71 toward the caster stopper 60, and an unlocking holding mechanism 73 to hold the lock unit 71 in the condition retreated from the caster stopper 60.
