PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand manufacturing apparatus having a simple and small-sized structure utilizing an impact type grinding function and capable of manufacturing sand having a predetermined particle size range by removing silt, concrete or the like from a raw material without using water. SOLUTION: The sand manufacturing apparatus 1 is constituted so as to manufacture sand having the predetermined particle size range from the charged raw material and provided with a main body 10 having a charging port 35 provided to the upper part thereof, a hitting impact grinding type sand manufacturing means, a first discharge port part 40 from which sand having the predetermined particle size range is discharged, a second discharge port part 45 from which sand outside the predetermined particle size range is discharged and a fine powder removing means 30 for whirling up the fine powder, which is peeled from the raw material by the hitting grinding action of the sand manufacturing means, by the wind force of air allowed to flow in a grinding chamber and carrying the same by air to allow the carried fine powder to flow out to the outside along with the air. The sand manufacturing means is composed of a rotatable rotor having a hitting member attached thereto, a repulsive plate, a grate and the like and provided in the main body 10 over a plurality of stages.
