PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality improving apparatus where water reforming treatments for various treatments can be efficiently performed at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the water quality improving apparatus, a water quality improving body 1 with a structure where magnesium (Mg) 11 and copper (Cu) as a metal 12 having a lower ionization tendency and a higher electric potential compared with the magnesium (Mg) 11 are sintered and coupled so as to be tightly stuck to each other in a state of being largely divided and mixed, respectively, many magnesium chips 13 and active carbon grains 14 are stored into a plurality of storing sacks 2 formed into a sack shape with paper, a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric having gas permeability and water permeability, and they are stored into a storage vessel 3 with a cornerless bean-jam pancake shape in which many holes 31 are formed on the outer circumferential face thereof.
