PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve chemical resistance in the tip of a liquid transfer section and to stably aerify liquid electrostatically in an electrostatic aerification device. SOLUTION: The device 1 is provided with a liquid reservoir section 2, the liquid transfer section 3 that transfers the liquid W, a liquid voltage applying electrode 4 that applies voltage to the liquid W and section 3, a counter electrode 5 disposed as opposed to the tip of the section 3, and a voltage applying section 6 that applies the voltage between the electrode 4 and electrode 5. The section 3 has a body section 31 extending from the section 2 to the vicinity of the tip and a tip section 32 integrally formed with the section 31, the section 31 is formed of a porous member having a capillary structure or the like, the section 32 is formed of a compact body that has no aeriform holes communicating with the interior so as to allow the liquid W to be transferred on the external surface. Deterioration in the material of the section 32 caused by the liquid W can be more suppressed than in the case that the porous body is used for the section 32, thereby stably enabling the electrostatic aerification of the liquid W because the liquid W is transferred through only the external surface of the section 32.
