PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector of a residual liquid in a bottle, enabling the detection of the residual liquid in the bottle with a simple method without omission. SOLUTION: The detector 1 of the residual liquid in the bottle is provided with a bottle washing section 3 washing a collected beer bottle 2, and a drain part 5 to drain off the water inside the beer bottle 2 with a mouth portion 2a of the beer bottle 2 of which the washing has been finished down, the drain part 5 being provided with a liquid detecting sensor 21 detecting the residual liquid in the beer bottle 2.
