The invention relates to an arrangement of a component (2, 20), which comprises at least one control device (3) for detecting a degradation (40) of the component, whereby the control device comprises at least one electrical conductor structure (30) and the component and the conductor structure of the control device are connected to each other in such a manner that the degradation of the component effects a degradation (41) of the conductor structure. The arrangement is characterized in that the control device comprises at least one means for examining a time domain behavior of the conductor structure. The invention also relates to a method for examining operability of a component using the aforementioned arrangement. The inventive method comprises the following steps: a) feeding the input signal to the conductor structure, b) reading out the output signal from the conductor structure, and c) evaluating the measured signal. The invention is especially used for the operational check of a heat shield (20) of the combustion chamber of a gas turbine. |
