The aqueous composition may have a pH of 2 to 10 and a temperature of 10 to 60‹C, reducing agents include alkali metal and amine sulphites and bisulphites, quaternary phosphonium compounds and thioglycollic acid. Acid levelling, acid milling, premetallised, reactive and solubilised leuco esters of vat dyes are used to dye sheep's wool, mohair, silk, and blends thereof, urea and thiourea are specified as penetrating agents. |
