<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system in which read out of information not intended by a user and use of an apparatus can be limited, and to provide a controller, control method, a radio tag, and a radio tag information management method. <P>SOLUTION: A radio tag is installed in a region for controlling an apparatus, and a controller having a radio tag reader is installed in the apparatus being controlled. When control information recorded in the radio tag is acquired on the apparatus side, the apparatus is controlled based on that control information. Furthermore, a radio tag reader is installed in the region for controlling the apparatus, and a controller having a radio tag is installed in the apparatus.
