PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a quick start-up of a fixing device by efficiently using electric power supplied from a commercial power source and preventing an uneven temperature distribution on a fixing roller. SOLUTION: Conductive members 44 connected to an electric storage device are disposed in generally facing relationship in the circumferential direction of the fixing roller 40. An electric power is supplied to the fixing roller 40 by the use of the electric storage device and a commercial power source. By this arrangement, the fixing roller 40 can be heated evenly, thereby achieving a quick start-up of the fixing roller 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
